Opportunities for the Disabled Foundation is honoured and appreciative to have various corporate and individual donors support our new computer donations program exclusively created to support  people with disabilities.

When individuals or companies upgrade their systems or software,  Opportunities for the Disabled welcomes them to donate their used computer equipment and/or software in exchange for a valuable tax-deductible donation receipt.

The O.F.T.D. has already placed hundreds of  computers in good homes accross Canada since our donation program inception.

This special program has proven to be a great success in assisting physically disabled individuals to receive a new sense of mobility, as it "virtually" removes an individuals disability in terms of physical limitations.The disabled individual(s) can now travel the world and expand their usually limited horizons.

We currently have many requests for equipment from various disabled individuals throughout our communities. These requests range from laptops to computer pic symbol devices for essential daily communications needs if you have a computer or would like to support this unique community supported initiative please click here.

You can now download a 2008 program flyer, and or a 2008 grant application for our program if you would like to apply for a computer. You can also print or save these files. In order to view them you will need to follow the instructions at the bottom of the page.
