About this Location:
Opportunities for the Disabled began our "Walking for Wheels" Public Awareness Campaign in August 1998, with the direction and volunteer leadership from Mr. Matthew Gamache and Mr. Don Oldfield.
Opportunities for the Disabled is proud to have assisted physically challenged individuals with multi spectrum disabilities to obtain a variety of medical and computer equipment throughout Canada, and Worldwide.
This is all possible only through the generous public support of our local Ontario Communities.
This location offers our medical and computer equipment recycling program service, and our Disability Resource Guide program©
2012 Office Goals and Program Activities: We are planning to expand our equipment funding programs in the 2012-2013 years through various grant requests, and local community support. We will be publishing our third edition of our Ontario 'Disability Resource Guide' ©.
We are offering rewarding volunteer opportunities for our community supporters.
We are currently conducting our public awareness door-to door and mall store front campaigns throughout the GTA central city area. If one of our representatives comes to your door please give generously, the charity relies on public support to fund our programs as well as government & private grants.
Our Public awareness campaigners always wear a 2012 AUTHORIZED FUNDRAISER ID BADGE and always give a receipt for any and all donations received.
We are currently hiring campaigners for our "Walking for Wheels" door-to door,mall,and supermarket fundraising campaign staff for the following positions:

Door to Door Public Awareness Campaigners

Our Public Awareness Campaign office is wheelchair friendly and conveniently located in the heart of Toronto.
Please call us to make an appointment. We are open from 10:00 am - 2:00 Pm Monday-Friday we are closed stat holidays and weekends.
